The conference Commodities and Culture in the “Other” Europe 1800-1945 (University of Texas, Austin, March 9-10, 2011) is over. Great meeting - great people! Thank you! Only the weather didn't show off, it was raining all the time...

Then sending to editor, final round of revision, and printing. Then collecting three of four (positive) reviews. Then defending it in the Institute... has anyone said “finished”?!
is my work on dissertation coming to the end or what? I have typed 396,099 characters so far... a half of million? would it be enough? well, maybe 1000 is enough, but written with flair :)
